I belive in a proces-oriented approach to design, where the journey of creation is as significant as the final result. My foundation in social sciences has profoundly shaped my human-centric
perspective in all my activities.
I would like to share with you some parts of my story. That's how I ended up in what I'm doing right now:)
2006 - 2013
Volunteering in cultural initiatives, earning a degree in social sciences (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poznan University of Economics and Business), attending the Norwegian Architecture and Design summer school (The University of Oslo), and working with NGOs and government organizations on community-driven projects.
2013 - 2017
Becoming a board member of an Animatornia NGO and co-founding Zakład Makerspace in Poznan, pursuing postgraduate studies in interior design (School of Form, Poznan), expanding my architectural knowledge through "The Architectural Imagination" course (HarvardX), and exploring home staging.
2016 - 2020
Establishing my own small business - Patyna Projekt, winning the "Venues for Culture" competition in Poznań, and setting up an interior design studio with a strong community focus.
2018 - 2021
Joining Modelarnia—an architectural model-making workshop—where I took on team leadership, honed my modeling skills, and gained hands-on experience in architectural model making craftsmanship.
2021 - 2024
Closing my studio in Poznań to pursue new opportunities, moving to Berlin, and embracing the craft of model making as a profession working for Monath + Menzel GmbH.
